A new project is currently in the pipeline within the CPNP to help adults 35-years and over with sex education. Due to increasing numbers of pregnant woman in Canada, the question has been raised “do they know what they are getting themselves in for?”
As of June, this year, a new sex education class for adults will take place to teach them the fundamentals of safe sex and sexual awareness. It is suggested that those of mature age still might not fully grasp the science behind having sexual intercourse and that by learning how reproduction works, it may help some couples to think twice about adding to the already huge population numbers, not just in Canada, but across the entire world. For the CPNP, when it comes to sex, there is a real gamble to be had.
The proposed plan for an adult sex class would be a two 4-hour class each week covering a period of five weeks. During this time, adults will learn about the science of copulation, the reproductive organs, testing and examination with those completing the class awarded with an official certification.
The proposition of having a sex education class for adults, was voted by 10 to 1 by the board members of the CPNP which will be funding a massive $100,000 into the project.
Here is a brief outline of the Sex Education program that will commence this June.
- Introduction to sex
- Learning the economic impact of having sex
- Test 1
- Learning the reproductive system
- Test 2
- Female study
- Male study
- Test 3
- Sexual bonding
- Sexual tips
- How to make money from sex
- Final test and Certification
Anna Whitehall, chairwoman of the CPNP, had this to say regarding the program.
“I think it is a fundamental responsibility of adults to know what sex is, how it can have an impact on those involved and ultimately how sex is performed. It was staggering to learn of the numbers in Canada that were over the age of 30-years that didn’t know how to engage in the sexual act and found it even harder to spell the word sex. One gentleman referred to the act of making love as ‘making whoopee!’ When asked if they knew how to engage in the act of sex, their reply was to draw the curtains and share a jar of pickles with their partner.”
Anna Whitehall went on to add “It is our responsibility because of our position to give people like this the facts and to help them understand as much as possible when it comes to sexual discovery and we’ve spent a lot of money in getting this project and program together, especially when buy the inflatable costumes that represent the two sexual organs that are going to be worn by the heads of programming during the lessons. Sex is a big gamble and a night of nookie is like Russian roulette. We don’t want people to gamble with their life and if I were a betting lady, I would say that this is going to be hugely successful.”
